"5 Nights of Truffles" - Executive Chef Peter McNee traveled to Piemonte and Tuscany, Italy, hand-selecting “tartufi bianchi,” or white truffles, to feature as the centerpiece for five consecutive nights of decadent, newly created dishes. Truffles will be shaved tableside on such dishes as Pheasant and Savoy Cabbage "Polpottone" with White Bean Passato; Crescenza Ravioli Con Salvia, Sformato Di Parmigiano con Forno Roasted Mushrooms with Autumn Lettuces; and Hand-combed Potato Gnocchi with Veal Jus. A special prix fixe truffle menu will also be created. In addition, Wine Director Nicholas Nahigian traveled with Peter to Italy to select new and boutique wines, complimenting Poggio's extensive existing list of more than 100 wines, and to pair with the truffle dishes. Forget the fuss and cleanup; bring the family to Poggio this Thanksgiving! Enjoy a prix fixe three-course meal created by Executive Chef Peter McNee with turkey and all the trimmings—Italian style. Highlights from the menu include Free-range turkey cooked two ways slow-roasted breast and glaze-roasted thighs with celeriac, leek and chanterelle mushroom stuffing; potato puree; braised chard; cranberry sauce and sage giblet gravy. Cost is $45 per person; $19 for children. Wine pairings available for an additional $25 per person. An a la carte menu will also be available. Cenone di Capodanno - Celebrate New Year's Eve the Italian way at Poggio! Ring in 2007 with freshly prepared northern Italian dishes in an upscale and relaxed environment. Executive Chef Peter McNee will create a special prix fixe menu for the
